Prior to this, the company also announced on its website about the donation. Specifically, the donation amount was raised from the contributions of all employees of the company. In addition, this is only the first phase of the disaster relief program, aiming to provide emergency assistance to the people. In the next phase, the company will continue to support people in rebuilding their lives and civil infrastructure.
Not only SSI, but many other businesses and organizations also made generous donations to support the affected people, including Bao Viet Holdings, Vietnam National Petroleum Group, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, each contributing VND 5 billion.
