VSIP 3 Industrial Park is located in Tan Uyen City and Bac Tan Uyen District, Binh Duong Province. The project has a total investment of up to VND 13,300 billion, invested by Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company. The project was started in March 2022.

VSIP 3 Industrial Park boasts a prime location, adjacent to existing VSIPs and the center of New Binh Duong City. As it lies on Ring Road 4, vehicles can easily access My Phuoc – Tan Van Road to ports and airports, as well as connect to Dong Nai and Ba Ria – Vung Tau provinces.

Despite being newly started, VSIP 3 has already attracted many “big players”. Currently, more than 30 companies are interested in developing production here, equivalent to 176 hectares of industrial land and an expected investment of 1.8 billion USD. So far, the industrial park has attracted 8 projects with a total investment of over 1.6 billion USD.

The most notable project is a toy factory with a scale of up to 1.3 billion USD invested by the LEGO Group (Denmark). This is LEGO’s largest factory in the world and also one of the largest projects of Denmark investing in Vietnam. The unique feature of the factory is that it uses only solar energy and produces components with an accuracy of 1/10th of a hair’s breadth. The photo above shows the construction site of the LEGO Group’s factory.

Located in the province with the most VSIP industrial parks in Vietnam, the project was identified by the provincial government as a third-generation industrial park, prioritizing high-tech industries, developing a green economy, reducing environmental pollution, and attracting high-tech, labor-saving projects.

VSIP 3 will focus on 7 main industries: Electronics and electricity, automobile manufacturing and assembly, mechanical engineering, industrial support products for high technology, textiles, food and beverages, warehousing and storage.

After more than 2 years, what used to be an empty land is now a bustling construction site, preparing the infrastructure to welcome investors. Many internal roads in the industrial park have been built, electricity lines have been installed, and the water supply system is in place.

With the view that infrastructure is the advantage to attract investors, immediately after the start of the VSIP 3 Industrial Park, the Provincial People’s Committee upgraded and expanded Highway 746. This is the main road leading to VSIP 3 Industrial Park, connecting the Bac Tan Uyen – Phu Giao – Bau Bang road and Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City. Investing and building this road will reduce travel time and cargo transportation to important transport hubs of the country such as Long Thanh airport, Thi Vai port, and Cai Mep port.

In the near future, industrial parks near Ho Chi Minh City will gradually move to Tan Uyen, VSIP 3 will soon become an industrial hub and a bustling economic center in the region, attracting many domestic and foreign investors, especially in the fields of high technology and advanced production… This will create thousands of jobs for workers. This contributes to the economic development of Binh Duong province in particular and the country in general.

In the period of 2023-2025, Binh Duong continues to plan 10 more industrial parks with a total land area of about 30 km2 (twice the area of Tan Son Nhat airport). The vision for 2050 is for Binh Duong to become a smart city, a modern industrial center, and a leading service center in Asia.
