In Vietnam, the iPhone 16 has a starting price of 23 million VND for the 128GB capacity, while the 16 Pro Max starts at 35 million VND for the 256GB memory, going up to 47 million VND for the 1TB version.

iPhone 16 Pro Max Sells Out in Vietnam
Just minutes after pre-orders opened, some versions of the iPhone 16 had to stop taking orders or delay delivery until October.

Specifically, for the iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB in the new Desert Titan color, when Vietnamese users pre-ordered on the Apple Store Online, the delivery date to customers in the central districts of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City changed from September 27 to October 5-12, 2024.
A similar situation occurred with the iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB in White Titan. The delivery time for this version has also been pushed back to October.
According to statistics from some of Apple’s authorized dealers, the majority of pre-orders were for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, especially the lowest-capacity 256GB model. In contrast, pre-orders for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus were very low.

Observations indicate that authorized retail systems of Apple in Vietnam are offering pre-order programs for the iPhone 16 series with attractive promotions.

The system also provides 0% interest installment plans, an additional 2 million VND trade-in allowance for old devices, an extra 3 million VND discount when purchasing Apple products together, and a further 35% discount when buying Apple accessories…

At FPT Shop, customers who pre-order the iPhone 16 series will enjoy benefits of up to 3 million VND, along with a 2-year warranty with a 1-for-1 exchange policy and an installment program of up to 24 months.
