Young Leader of Camimex Only Able to Purchase 57% of Registered Shares

Member of the Board of Directors of Camimex JSC (UPCoM: CMM), Bui Duc Dung, intended to accumulate 14 million shares from August 14 to September 13, 2024. However, he was only able to purchase over 57% of the registered shares, equivalent to 8 million shares, due to the share price not meeting expectations.

Based on the average price during the transaction period of 7,033 VND per share, it is estimated that Mr. Dung spent approximately VND 56.5 billion.

During this period, CMM shares also saw nearly 8.5 million shares traded in deals worth more than VND 51.3 billion. It is possible that Mr. Dung contributed to these block deals.

After the transaction, Mr. Dung increased his ownership from 3.5% to 11.7%, equivalent to nearly 11.5 million shares, and became a major shareholder of CMM.

Chairman of HAGL’s Daughter Purchased 2 Million HAG Shares

Ms. Doan Hoang Anh, daughter of Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoang Anh Gia Lai JSC (HOSE: HAG)), reported that she successfully purchased 2 million HAG shares as registered from September 10 to 18.

Based on the closing price of HAG on September 18 of VND 10,550 per share, it is estimated that Ms. Hoang Anh spent more than VND 21 billion to increase her ownership in HAG from 11 million shares (a rate of 1.04%) to 13 million shares (a rate of 1.23%).

Previously, in early May 2024, Ms. Hoang Anh also purchased 2 million HAG shares to increase her ownership to 1.04%, with an estimated transaction value of VND 27 billion.

Thanh Cong Fund Management Purchases 1 Million Pinaco Shares

From August 30 to September 11, 2024, Thanh Cong Fund Management LLC successfully purchased 1 million shares of Pin Ac Quy Mien Nam JSC (Pinaco, HOSE: PAC) through matched orders.

After the transaction, Thanh Cong Fund Management held a total of 1 million PAC shares, representing a 2.15% stake in the company. Prior to this, the company did not hold any PAC shares.

Regarding connections, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet is a member of the Board of Directors of PAC and a member of the Members’ Council of Thanh Cong Fund Management.

During this period, the market recorded two matched transactions for PAC shares, with a total volume equal to the amount purchased by Thanh Cong Fund Management. These are likely to be the company’s transactions, valued at approximately VND 38 billion, equivalent to VND 38,000 per share. This price is about 11% lower than the average price during the period (VND 42,800 per share)

Wife of TAL Chairman Aims to Increase Ownership to Over 4%

Mrs. Doan Thi Phuong Thao, wife of Mr. Pham Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Taseco Real Estate Investment JSC (UPCoM: TAL), intends to purchase 2 million TAL shares to increase her ownership.

On the other hand, Mrs. To Thi Dua (Mr. Thanh’s mother-in-law) plans to divest her entire holding of nearly 1.4 million TAL shares for personal reasons.

Both transactions are expected to be conducted through matched orders and market orders from September 24 to October 22, 2024. These are likely to be transactions between the two family members.

If successful, the wife of the TAL Chairman will increase her ownership from 10.45 million shares (a rate of 3.52%) to 12.45 million shares (a rate of 4.19%). Meanwhile, Mrs. Dua will no longer be a shareholder of TAL. Mr. Thanh does not hold any TAL shares.

In the morning session of September 20, TAL shares traded around VND 18,000 per share, a decrease of more than 7% since the beginning of 2024, with an average liquidity of more than 40,000 shares per session. Based on this price, it is estimated that Mrs. Thao needs to spend about VND 36 billion to complete the transaction, while her mother will receive nearly VND 25 billion.
