The Capital’s Land Auction: Phu Xuyen’s Prime Plot Reaches 60 Million VND per square meter

The Phu Xuyen District successfully auctioned off the residential land-use rights for 42 plots, generating over VND 152 billion. The most expensive plot fetched a winning bid of VND 60 million per square meter, setting a new benchmark for the area.

On September 22, the People’s Committee of Phu Xuyen District, in collaboration with the Viet Nam Partnership Auction Company, organized an auction for the land-use rights of 42 land plots in Phu Yen and Ha Chau Can communes (Phu Xuyen District).

According to the District Land Development Center, the total area of the 42 auctioned land plots was 3,678.59 square meters. Specifically, 25 land plots are located in Dong Doc Duoi, Gie Ha village, Phu Yen commune, spanning 2,248.60 square meters, while the remaining 17 land plots in Noi village, Chau Can commune, cover an area of 1,429.99 square meters.

The auction attracted the participation of 300 customers. Following the event, the 42 land plots generated a total revenue of VND 152.24 billion. Notably, the highest bid in Phu Yen commune exceeded VND 60 million per square meter, while the highest bid in Chau Can commune surpassed VND 39 million per square meter.

As shared by the Phu Xuyen Land Development Center, the district has conducted five land-use right auctions since the beginning of the year, collecting over VND 331 billion, surpassing the assigned plan by 115.4%.

Moving forward, Phu Xuyen District is set to hold two more land-use right auctions before the end of 2024. The revenue generated from these auctions will be utilized by the People’s Committee of Phu Xuyen District for infrastructure development and social welfare projects.
