Immediately after the incident was discovered, the People’s Committee of Vinh Loc District directed Vinh An Commune to deploy the “four on-site” plan, mobilizing functional forces and local people to actively implement incident remedies. The localities urgently need to statistics on damage caused by rain, floods, inundation, and landslides in the area and propose support needs from the province, sending reports to the Office of the Standing Office of the Provincial Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, the Office of the Standing Office of Civil Defense, Response to Incidents and Natural Disasters, and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa Province, completed before 15:00 on September 24, 2024.
