These masterpieces celebrate the beauty of natural stones, seamlessly integrated into Hublot’s iconic Classic Fusion collection.
Hublot’s Classic Fusion collection reimagines the original, groundbreaking watch design from the 1980s, combining precious and modern materials in a timepiece inspired by the porthole of a ship (“hublot” in French). The Classic Fusion Elements II collection, designed exclusively for The Hour Glass, continues this legacy by emphasizing the philosophy of “The Art of Fusion” through the innovative use of materials and traditional craftsmanship, resulting in exquisite timepieces.
The Classic Fusion Elements II collection introduces five stunning dial variations, each crafted from a unique natural stone, symbolizing different aspects of the natural world:
Lunar Meteorite: The dial is crafted from rare moon meteorite, symbolizing celestial connections and the eternal mysteries of the universe. With its deep gray tones and metallic sheen, each dial is a piece of the moon, making the watch a part of cosmic history.
Pink Jasper: Known for its nurturing energy, pink jasper is associated with peace and healing. The warm pink dial emanates tranquility and stability, representing emotional balance and a connection to the Earth’s nurturing powers.
Turquoise: Symbolizing protection and wisdom, turquoise is revered across cultures for its vibrant blue hue. The bright color of the dial evokes clear skies and calm seas, bringing a sense of serenity and purity, along with a guardian energy to the watch.
Sodalite: This deep blue stone with white veins is linked to logic and truth. The rich indigo color of sodalite evokes the infinite depths of the ocean, symbolizing introspection, wisdom, and the pursuit of knowledge.
Nephrite Jade: A stone of endurance and harmony, nephrite jade features a deep green hue symbolizing prosperity and longevity. The glossy green reflects regeneration and vitality, representing the strength and balance that jade has been trusted to bestow upon its wearer for centuries.
Each watch in the collection is a meaningful work of natural art.
“Hublot’s ‘Art of Fusion’ philosophy constantly drives us to explore new materials and push the boundaries of watchmaking. With the Classic Fusion Elements II collection, we continue to blend tradition with innovation, creating unique timepieces just like the stones used to craft them. This collaboration with The Hour Glass testifies to our shared commitment to excellence and passion for creative horology.” – Julien Tornare, Hublot’s new CEO, shared.
Each dial is encased in a 42mm titanium case with a brushed finish, accented with 18K gold details, including the screw-down crown and the famous H-shaped screws on the bezel. The watch features a transparent sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating to enhance the visibility of the intricate dial. The case back, also crafted from titanium, has a brushed finish and is engraved with “SPECIAL EDITION” along with the limited-edition number of each watch.
At the heart of these special timepieces is the HUB1110 automatic movement, comprising 177 components and offering a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The titanium case is only 10.4mm thick, providing a comfortable yet impressive presence on the wrist. The watch is secured by a deployment buckle in 5N 18K gold and stainless steel and is paired with a black alligator leather strap, completing the artistic and refined look of the timepiece.
“The Classic Fusion Elements II collection stands as a testament to the enduring partnership between Hublot and The Hour Glass. These timepieces not only showcase exceptional craftsmanship in every detail but also affirm the profound connection between time and the natural world.” – Michael Tay, Group Managing Director of The Hour Glass, shared.
