Honda has unveiled the latest iteration of its popular scooter, the SCR125 Xisha, in China. Accompanying the launch is a price reduction from 7,980 CNY to 7,080 CNY (approximately 23.1 million VND).
The scooter boasts an elegant design with simple headlights and sleek, full-bodied sides. Its unique 3-point seating position ensures a comfortable and fatigue-free riding experience, even during long journeys.
The Wuyang Honda SCR125 Xisha is equipped with modern conveniences such as a front storage compartment with a USB charging port and a sturdy stainless steel rear rack. The under-seat storage compartment is spacious enough to accommodate a half-face helmet and other essentials.
In terms of safety, the Honda scooter features drum brakes on both the front and rear wheels for the standard version, while the premium version is equipped with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake.
Powering the Honda SCR125 Xisha is the ESP engine, delivering a maximum output of 9.3 horsepower and a peak torque of 10 Nm. This engine not only provides superior performance compared to the Honda Vision but also achieves impressive fuel efficiency at 1.88 liters per 100 kilometers.
One of the standout features of the SCR125 is its intelligent start-stop system, IDLING STOP, which automatically turns off the engine after 3 seconds of idling and can be restarted with a gentle twist of the throttle.
The Honda SCR125 Xisha has been a staple in the Chinese market for 28 years, with its most recent upgrade taking place in 2022. This upgrade saw the Wuyang Honda SCR125 Xisha 2022 transition from the original PGM-FI electronic fuel injection system to the Wuyang Honda i-FI system.
