Companies Finalizing Dividend Payouts for the Week of 30/09 – 04/10/2024

The company with the highest dividend ratio for next week is CKD, a subsidiary of LIC. With 31 million shares in circulation, CKD is expected to spend approximately VND 59 billion on dividends. The ex-dividend date is 03/10, with a payment date of 23/10/2024. LIC holds 89.06% of CKD‘s capital and is expected to receive nearly VND 52.5 billion in dividends this period.

Ranking second is PNJ, with a dividend ratio of 14%, which is the second dividend for 2023. Although it does not have the highest closing ratio, this jewelry company stands out when considering the actual payout. With nearly 335 million shares in circulation, PNJ is expected to spend more than VND 468 billion on this dividend. The ex-dividend date is 02/10, and the payment is expected to be made after just two weeks, i.e., 16/10/2024.

As of 30/06/2024, Ms. Truong Ngoc Phuong was the largest shareholder of PNJ with a 7.02% stake and expected dividend receipts of nearly VND 33 billion. Following her, the Dragon Capital fund group owned 5.36% of the capital, and the Sprucegrove Investment fund group owned 4.96%, respectively receiving more than VND 25 billion and VND 23 billion.

Next week, two companies will finalize dividends in shares: SBG and BMI. SBG will close the right at a ratio of 22% (100 old shares receive 22 new shares) and is expected to issue 5.5 million shares. In contrast, BMI has a ratio of 10% (for every 10 old shares, receive 1 new share) and is expected to issue more than 12 million shares. The corresponding ex-dividend dates are 02 and 03/10.
