Contractors are focused on construction, with bridge paving scheduled for October 18, and the project is expected to be substantially completed by December 31.
The leadership of the People’s Committee of Bac Giang Province further emphasized their commitment to the Dong Viet Bridge project. The project has encountered challenges with land clearance for the bridge approach, which remains incomplete due to some households constructing houses on agricultural land. This week, a vice chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Giang Province is expected to meet with relevant parties to address these issues and accelerate the progress of the Dong Viet Bridge project.
According to the reporter’s investigation, the Dong Viet Bridge is the first and largest cable-stayed bridge in Bac Giang Province. It serves as a vital connection between Bac Giang and Hai Duong provinces. The project has a total investment of nearly VND 1,500 billion. The Thuân An Corporation, as part of a joint venture, is involved in the project with a construction value of over VND 800 billion.
