According to Thai tech insiders, there are significant advantages to collaboration between Thailand and Vietnam’s startup ecosystems. Investment flows between the two countries are increasing, providing opportunities for international startups to seek talent in this market.

Speaking at the recent Techsauce Global Summit 2024, Oranuch (Mimee) Lerdsuwankij, CEO of Techsauce, shared her insights: “There are many advantages to building collaboration between the startup ecosystems of Vietnam and Thailand, with investment flows between the two countries growing rapidly. International and Thai startups alike are always on the lookout for tech talent in this market, and this is where Vietnam has an edge over many other markets.”

She highlighted that both Thailand and Vietnam are strategically located in the region. In terms of logistics, they can serve as hubs for many countries looking to expand their services and solutions, particularly for tangible products.

For the digital field, which does not require physical products, Thailand boasts a robust digital infrastructure along with a favorable position in logistics. Thailand has numerous listed companies very interested in finding tech solutions to integrate into their operations. In contrast, Vietnam possesses a strong talent pool, making it an attractive partner for Thailand in developing tech solutions.

The CEO emphasized the advantages of collaboration between Thailand and Vietnam’s tech ecosystems. This underscores the pressing need for tech talent in Thailand, where companies are seeking innovative solutions for integration. “We are not just looking for partners, but also aiming to build a strong network to support each other in tech development,” she stressed.
