This is the Green and Smart Mobility Corporation (GSM) of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong.
Recently, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, CEO of GSM, announced two special job openings: one for a general management position and the other focusing on the operation of all current and upcoming GSM markets.
According to Mr. Thanh, GSM has been in business for a year and a half and has come a long way, employing nearly 100,000 staff and partners in Vietnam, Laos, and soon, Indonesia.
Acknowledging that as a young company, GSM may lag behind competitors in terms of finance, experience, and technology, the CEO believes that the company’s success will hinge on its human resources and execution. He expresses hope that GSM will soon welcome two senior leaders to join the team.
As per Mr. Thanh’s announcement, the specific requirements for the two senior leadership positions at GSM are as follows:
First, for the general management position, candidates must have at least five years of experience in C-level roles, with a preference for those who have managed large teams, handled numerous transactions, possess an extensive network, and have experience managing multinational companies. Additionally, they should demonstrate strong direct management skills and possess a strategic mindset in areas such as marketing, sales, finance and accounting, investment, media relations, and technology.
Secondly, for the operations position, GSM seeks candidates with a minimum of five years of experience in director or C-level operational roles, again with a focus on managing large teams and preferably within companies boasting extensive networks. Direct operational experience, quality control expertise, and asset management skills are considered advantageous.
A common thread between these two positions is that GSM seeks candidates with strong English communication skills and experience working with global startups or multinational corporations. Both roles will be based in Hanoi but will require frequent travel within and outside Vietnam. Additionally, GSM emphasizes that candidates for these positions must be able to handle high pressure, execute tasks quickly, and demonstrate strong multitasking and efficiency skills.
