Reports show that Viettel Global’s sales and services revenue reached nearly VND 9,130 billion, up 25% from Q3 2023. This growth is five times higher than the global telecommunications growth rate of 4.1%, as per Gartner. Viettel Global has recorded 11 consecutive quarters of year-on-year revenue growth.

In Q3, sales and service revenue increased across all Viettel Global markets. Lumitel in Burundi led the growth with an 80% surge, followed by Natcom in Haiti at 28%, Movitel in Mozambique at 21%, and Telemor in East Timor at 20%.

Notably, the electronic wallet companies witnessed impressive growth, with Lumicash in Burundi up by 82%, M_mola in Mozambique by 80%, Halopesa in Tanzania by 45%, and Emoney in Cambodia by 16%.

For the first nine months of 2024, Viettel Global’s revenue reached VND 25,724 billion, a 25% increase year-on-year. Its pre-tax profit stood at VND 6,037 billion, marking a 162% growth, while its after-tax profit was VND 3,477 billion, a significant 343% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

Viettel Global consistently wins prestigious international awards.

In 2024, Viettel Global’s markets garnered several prestigious international awards. Most recently, in October 2024, at the Stevie Awards’ International Business Awards, Viettel Burundi and Viettel Cambodia won five awards, including two gold and three silver awards, mainly for their digital services. The consecutive receipt of international accolades is a significant source of pride and a testament to the tireless efforts of Viettel’s market companies as they transform from leading telecommunications enterprises into top digital service providers.

The string of prestigious international awards also validates Viettel Global’s strategic direction. This strategy involves expanding the business’s depth and width. In terms of depth, to ensure sustainable and efficient development, Viettel Global maintains its number one position while continuously expanding into new services such as Data Center, Cloud, Electronic Wallet, and convenient digital services for governments and citizens. Regarding width, in response to invitations from various nations, Viettel Global is exploring new markets to seek investment and business opportunities.
