During the meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh appreciated Egypt’s role and position in the region and at multilateral forums, praising the values that the Nile civilization has brought to humanity.

Based on the traditional friendship and high political trust, the Prime Minister proposed that the two countries actively promote the development of multifaceted relations, aiming to elevate bilateral relations to new heights.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh conveyed the greetings and invitation of General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, and Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly to visit Vietnam soon.

For his part, the Egyptian Prime Minister affirmed that Egypt was one of the first Middle Eastern-African countries to establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam in 1963. Egypt has always valued its traditional relations with Vietnam and once again expressed its deep admiration for President Ho Chi Minh.

The Egyptian Prime Minister wished to promote relations with Vietnam and confirmed that Vietnamese enterprises operating and investing in Egypt would benefit from the free trade agreements between Egypt and Arab countries.

The two leaders agreed to promote the study and consideration of negotiating agreements and treaties to create a legal framework for bilateral trade relations.

Both Prime Ministers believed that the two economies are complementary and still hold great potential for exploitation. They agreed to exchange views on the possibility of establishing bilateral trade cooperation frameworks, thereby contributing to increasing trade turnover in the future.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly also agreed to encourage mutual investment between the two countries’ enterprises in fields such as electric vehicles, software research, renewable energy, solar energy, green transition, and digital transformation. They also agreed to promote cooperation in training, cultural exchange, tourism, and enhancing mutual understanding.

The two sides also agreed to continue supporting and coordinating with each other at multilateral forums, serving as a bridge in strengthening cooperation between ASEAN and Arab countries for the benefit of the people of both countries and for peace, cooperation, and development in the two regions.

At the meeting with Jordanian Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated Jordan on its success in implementing the “Economic Modernization Vision” and appreciated Jordan’s role in supporting the Palestinian people, thereby contributing to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region.

Delighted to meet with the Prime Minister, Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II expressed his admiration for Vietnam’s socio-economic development achievements, a shining example of economic development in the Asian region. The Crown Prince shared that the King of Jordan has a special affection for Vietnam and will visit the country at the earliest opportunity. With a desire to deepen relations with Vietnam, the Crown Prince agreed to the Prime Minister’s proposal to establish bilateral cooperation mechanisms, such as political consultations between the two foreign ministries and an intergovernmental committee between the two countries.

Sharing the importance of economic cooperation and investment to create a breakthrough in bilateral cooperation, the two leaders agreed to promote cooperation in tourism, education, and the exchange of strengths. These include agriculture, aquaculture, footwear, textiles, and electronics in Vietnam.

The Crown Prince welcomed Vietnam’s new direction in investing in the development of the Halal industry, affirming that the Arab region is a very potential market. He also expressed his readiness to coordinate and import Vietnam’s Halal food products to ensure domestic food security and expand re-exports to regional markets.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh invited Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah to visit Vietnam soon, which the Crown Prince gladly accepted.
