The year 2024 witnessed a remarkable achievement with 190 enterprises and a total of 359 products being recognized as “Vietnam National Brand”. This number has shown a significant increase compared to the 8th selection round in 2022, which had 172 enterprises and 325 products.

Apart from their investment in business, contributing to the country’s economic growth and creating employment opportunities, these businesses have also made significant social and community contributions. Their tax contributions are also an important measure of their impact on the nation’s development.

The enterprises with products honored as the “National Brand” achieved a remarkable total revenue of VND 2.4 quadrillion in 2023, with approximately VND 150 trillion contributed to the state budget.

In the private enterprise sector for consumer and household goods, the largest tax contributor was Tan A Dai Thanh Group. In 2023, Tan A Dai Thanh contributed over VND 797 billion to the state budget.

This year, Tan A Dai Thanh had four products recognized as the “National Brand”, including stainless steel tanks, plastic tanks, water heaters, and solar water heaters. According to research reports from independent organizations, these flagship products of the Tan A Dai Thanh Group have achieved the highest consumption volume in the domestic market.

According to the organizers, in recent years, numerous ethnic enterprises, state economic groups, and large-scale private enterprises have played a crucial and pioneering role in driving the development of various industries, fields, and the national economy.

Many businesses have taken the initiative in technology, led in innovation, built strong brands, created ecosystems for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and pioneered green and digital transformation. They have also actively contributed to addressing national challenges and complex issues.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Chairman of the “Vietnam National Brand” Council, shared that after more than 20 years of implementation, with the close attention and guidance of the Party and State leaders, along with the proactive and effective participation of central and local ministries, branches, and unions, and the remarkable efforts of the business community fueled by their aspiration for a strong and prosperous Vietnam, the “Vietnam National Brand” Program has achieved positive results.
