Huawei Vietnam has officially launched the ICT Competition 2024 – 2025, offering three distinct training paths in Cloud, Network, and Computing. Besides gaining new ICT knowledge, participants will have the chance to win attractive prizes and gain valuable opportunities: The opportunity to represent Malaysia and China, competing with global tech talents; the chance to interact and compete with young talents from various countries; and the prospect of interning and working at Huawei Vietnam.
The Huawei ICT Competition is an annual event organized by Huawei for students specializing in information and communication technologies at universities and academies worldwide. With the theme “Connect, Glory, Future” and the slogan “I.C. The Future,” the competition aims to create an international platform for university and college students to enhance their ICT knowledge and practical skills.
In its third edition in Vietnam, the Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025 expands its scope by introducing the Computing Track, alongside the previously offered Cloud and Network Tracks, to provide participants with fresh and beneficial learning opportunities.
Upon registration, students will receive a Huawei Talent online learning account, allowing them to choose one of the three learning paths according to their interests and career goals: Cloud Track, covering cloud computing, big data, and AI; Network Track, encompassing IP technologies such as data transmission, security, WLAN, and DCN; and Computing Track, focusing on openEuler, openGauss, and Kunpeng.
At the end of the course, students will take part in the National Round, from which three outstanding students will be selected to represent Vietnam in the Asia-Pacific Round in Malaysia, with a chance to advance to the Global Final in China.
Interested students are required to register an account on the Huawei Talent website and sign up for the competition. The registration period is from November 15 to December 12, 2025, with the National Round (Vietnam) taking place on December 13. The Asia-Pacific and Global Final rounds are expected to be held in February and May 2025, respectively.
