On November 18th, Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company, a garment manufacturer in Dinh Quan District, Dong Nai, announced their bonus plans for the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday in 2025, the Year of the Snake.

The average bonus amount is over VND 12 million per person, a significant increase of VND 4 million compared to the previous year. The company also implemented a bonus policy of VND 300,000 per person for officers, workers, and employees who are punctual on the first working day of the new year after Tet.

Employees will receive their Tet bonus before January 22, 2025. Additionally, in October, the company rewarded 15 outstanding production teams with a total bonus of nearly VND 360 million for their excellent performance in completing the assigned plan for that month. The company also presented gifts and VND 500,000 each to 24 exemplary workers with creative initiatives in production.

The leadership of Dong Phu Cuong Company shared that they announced the salary and Tet bonus early to reassure their workers and foster a sense of commitment to the company before and after the holiday. In 2024, the company secured numerous orders, providing stable jobs and income for over 2,300 workers. In the last months of the year, the company launched a production emulation campaign and organized frequent bonus programs to encourage workers’ enthusiastic spirit.

Previously, during the emulation campaign in the first six months of the year, Dong Phu Cuong Company awarded VND 1 million per person to workers with one year of service and VND 500,000 per person to those with less than one year of service (applicable to workers who have signed formal labor contracts).

In preparation for the Lunar New Year bonus in the Year of the Snake, Mr. Dang Tuan Tu, Chairman of the Trade Union of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (a leather shoe manufacturer with over 40,000 workers in Thanh Phu Industrial Park, Vinh Cuu District, Dong Nai) shared that the trade union is meeting with the company’s leaders to discuss the bonus plans and will announce them to the workers soon.

According to the bonus policy outlined in the labor agreement, Changshin Vietnam will maintain the same bonus policy as last year. Workers with one year of service will receive a bonus equivalent to one month’s salary. Those with over one year of service will be entitled to an additional 5% bonus per year, with the highest bonus being two months’ salary per worker.

Furthermore, Changshin Vietnam decided to offer a bonus of VND 200,000 per person for the upcoming 2025 New Year holiday.
