The Vietnam Listed Company Awards, an extension of the Vietnam Annual Report Awards, is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE), Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), and Investment Review newspaper. This annual event is solely sponsored by Dragon Capital and technically supported by professional partners such as IFC, ACCA, and leading audit firms Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC. 2024 marks the 17th year of this prestigious award, accompanying the Vietnamese stock market and the community of listed companies.
According to the organizers, after nearly six months of evaluation and deliberation, the judging panel selected 71 non-financial companies with the best annual reports from almost 600 listed companies on both exchanges. At the awards ceremony, EVNGENCO3 Joint Stock Corporation (Stock code: PGV) was honored to receive the Top 20 Best Annual Report award in the non-financial sector.
The theme of EVNGENCO3’s 2023 Annual Report was “Confident in the New Journey.” The report presented a comprehensive overview of EVNGENCO3 during a period of significant global economic and energy market fluctuations. It provided clear, specific, and transparent information on production and business results, sustainability reporting, governance, and long-term development orientations.
2023 also marked a special year for EVNGENCO3 as it embarked on the next decade (2023-2033). EVNGENCO3 Joint Stock Corporation was the first among the three power generation corporations of EVN to undergo equitization, with the stock code PGV registered for trading on the UPCoM in September 2018 and later listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) from February 10, 2022.
