The Launch Event for Volvo’s First All-Electric Car in Vietnam
Volvo Car Vietnam unveiled its first all-electric car in the Vietnamese market, the Volvo EC40, during the “Recharge To Shine – Recharge to Shine” exhibition, held from November 15-17 at Tasco Mall, Long Bien.
Following the car launch on November 15, Volvo Car Vietnam welcomed the public for the next two days in a 1,600 sq. m space, including an outdoor exhibition area, an art hall, interactive content, and experiences. The event showcased the company’s heritage in safety technology, sustainability, and a collection of plug-in hybrid vehicles.
The highlight of the event was the impressive launch moment of the Volvo EC40, named “The Soul,” where Volvo connected with its customers on an emotional journey towards a bright and sustainable future in the Vietnamese market. The aesthetics and features of a crossover vehicle were seamlessly inherited and innovated by the Volvo EC40 with a sporty style, introducing sleek and dynamic elements while retaining the distinctive identity of Volvo cars.

Following the EC40’s impressive launch, a classical music performance combined with image-generating technology, titled “Re.imagine,” continued to captivate the audience. This project fused classical music with advanced imaging technology, aiming to redefine the classical music experience in a modern space. The underlying theme of Re.imagine for this event was the relationship between humans, nature, and technology.
Throughout the duration of Re.imagine, the audience was treated to a multisensory experience of classical music, with visuals and AI technology interpreting each note and displaying it on a large screen. The performance promised to engage the audience’s senses, creating a unique and immersive musical journey.
