The opening of PewPew’s first banh mi shop in Hanoi has created quite a stir, with locals flocking to try and review the famous streamer’s sandwiches, creating a mini-frenzy in the capital city. Among the customers who visited the shop was a notable foreign guest who not only sampled the food but also provided feedback to the owner.

Will in Vietnam, a well-known French TikToker known for his food and travel reviews in the country, decided to try out PewPew’s banh mi after a suggestion from one of his followers. He even had the chance to meet and chat with the owner during his visit.

PewPew enthusiastically welcomed the foreign guest and promptly suggested he try his signature sandwiches.

The most exciting part was when Will took his first bite of the PewPew banh mi. He shared that this was his first time trying the brand, and he opted for two classic options: the mixed filling and the pork patty banh mi. In the end, the traditional pork patty emerged as his favorite.

Will not only praised the taste of PewPew’s banh mi but also made an intriguing suggestion to the owner. He mentioned that Vietnamese banh mi is famous in France, so he proposed that PewPew should consider opening a shop in Paris.

Amused and delighted by the idea, PewPew replied that he would definitely consider it if given the opportunity. This response was not mere politeness, as the streamer has previously expressed his ambition to take Vietnamese banh mi to the world, believing that it has the potential to make a global impact.
