## Quang Ninh Province Tourism Stimulus Package Announced: A Collaborative Effort to Revitalize the Local Tourism Industry

On November 20, the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the Quang Ninh Tourism Association and Sun Group Corporation, organized a ceremony to announce a tourism stimulus program.

The event witnessed the participation of over 300 businesses from various sectors, including hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions, and cruise operators, with the shared goal of revitalizing Quang Ninh’s tourism industry following the severe impacts of Storm No. 3.

### Attractive Discounts of Up to 50%

The stimulus program, themed “Quang Ninh – A Four-Season Destination,” will be implemented from now until the end of the first quarter of 2025, offering a range of discounted products and services for tourists with savings of up to 50%.

For example, visitors to Sun World Ha Long’s Dragon Park will enjoy a 50% discount on admission tickets, paying only VND 150,000 each for both adults and children, while children under one meter in height will enter for free. This presents a fantastic opportunity to experience an international-standard park with 21 large-scale and modern games, ensuring captivating moments for all.

Additionally, those opting for the Queen Cable Car at Sun World Ha Long will receive an enticing food and beverage voucher redeemable at the Fuji Restaurant – Japanese Garden. With each cable car ticket priced at VND 360,000 for adults and VND 260,000 for children, visitors will be entitled to a voucher that includes a meal, a beverage, and a dessert. Moreover, guests can enjoy daily performances of traditional Vietnamese music using folk instruments at the Fuji Restaurant, immersing themselves in a unique cultural experience.

Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh Hot Spring Resort, one of the hottest destinations in Quang Ninh, also offers significant discounts. Visitors can indulge in the Sumi Public Onsen package, relaxing their bodies and minds at a discounted rate of 51% compared to the peak season, for only VND 980,000 per guest, including dining for groups of three or more, available from Monday to Friday.

Other attractive promotions include a 20% discount on room rates with breakfast for two, valid from Sunday to Friday; a special sunset hour rate of just VND 500,000 per person (excluding food) from 6 pm to 8 pm; and a 20% reduction in buffet prices for guests staying at the Onsen.

### Over 300 Businesses Offer the Best Rates

During the ceremony announcing the Quang Ninh tourism stimulus program, more than 200 businesses and operators pledged to provide deep discounts while maintaining the highest quality and service standards for tourists.

For instance, Muong Thanh Luxury Quang Ninh Hotel introduced the “Winter Promotion” package, priced at only VND 850,000 per guest (for a minimum of two guests), including a one-night stay in a Deluxe/Premium room, complimentary breakfast buffet at Van Xuan Restaurant, and either lunch or dinner. Similarly, Ha Long New Day Hotel offered a 40% discount on published rates, while Peace Ha Long Hotel provided a 40% reduction on published rates and a 30% discount on banquet and workshop room fees when booking full hotel services.

According to Ms. Nguyen Huyen Anh, Director of Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, the local tourism industry has proactively implemented numerous initiatives to recover from the impacts of Storm No. 3.

However, to create a significant boost for the industry’s recovery and growth, the unity and collaboration of all service providers in the tourism sector are essential. By reducing costs, enhancing competitiveness, and offering high-quality products at attractive prices, Quang Ninh aims to attract more visitors and meet its tourism targets for 2024.

“We hope that the joint efforts of businesses will create a strong ripple effect, drawing a large number of tourists to Quang Ninh during the autumn and winter seasons,” said Ms. Nguyen Huyen Anh.

Quang Ninh is striving to welcome 19 million tourists in 2024, including 3.5 million international visitors. As of October, the province has received 16.8 million visitors, with an estimated 3 million international arrivals. To achieve its annual target, Quang Ninh needs to attract over 3 million more tourists in the remaining two months of 2024.

With a range of synchronized and high-quality stimulus measures and countless captivating experiences during the autumn and winter seasons, Quang Ninh’s tourism industry is poised for a rapid acceleration toward fulfilling its goals for the year.
