Mr. Le Ngoc Lam (BIDV CEO) and Mr. Le Thanh Hung (VRG CEO) represent the two units in signing the Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement.

According to the agreement, BIDV will provide comprehensive financial solutions and modern banking services to meet the diverse and specific needs of VRG. At the same time, BIDV will also allocate resources to support and promote VRG’s investment and business development plans.

BIDV is Vietnam’s oldest and largest bank by total assets, reaching over 2.5 million billion VND (equivalent to 101 billion USD) as of September 30, 2024. VRG is a leading economic group that plays a pioneering and core role and is the center for strategy formulation in the development of Vietnam’s rubber industry. The cooperation between these two leading enterprises in the country is not only an important milestone in the development journey of BIDV and VRG but also opens up many opportunities for strong and sustainable growth in providing superior financial services to VRG and its member units.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Duc Tu – Chairman of BIDV’s Board of Directors – emphasized: The rubber industry not only holds a vital position, making important contributions to economic development, social security, and national defense and security, but it is also an indispensable link in the industrial supply chain, promoting industrialization in the country. In the trend of sustainable development, along with the orientation to promote high-tech agriculture and industrial real estate investment of the Group, BIDV is ready to accompany the Group through Green financial products, Green banking, and financial solution consulting to help VRG achieve its strategic goals, contributing to the common prosperity of the socio-economic sector.

Mr. Tran Cong Kha – Chairman of VRG’s Board of Directors – shared: The Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement between BIDV and VRG will help the two units to promote their strengths, make the best use of their potential, bring common benefits, and enhance the competitiveness of each side.
