On November 20, the Buôn Ma Thuột Tax Department (Đắk Lắk) sent an official letter to the Investigative Police Agency of Đà Nẵng regarding the business activities of GFDI Investment Consulting One-Member Limited Liability Company (GFDI Company) in the area.
According to the letter, the GFDI Company’s branch in Đắk Lắk has been registered to operate since November 2022 at 48 Ly Tu Trong Street, Buon Ma Thuot City. Every year, the company makes tax declarations, but in reality, there has been no significant activity, and no taxes have been incurred. At the time of observation, the registered address of the GFDI Company’s branch in Đắk Lắk was found to be closed with no personnel present.

On November 18, the Investigative Police Agency of Đà Nẵng City initiated legal proceedings against several leaders and employees of the GFDI Company for alleged fraud and appropriation of property. The accused include Nguyen Quang Hoang (CEO), Tran Thi My Hanh (Head of Treasury), Nguyen Do Dat (CFO), To Hong Tra (Director of the Transaction Branch), and Tran Thi Kieu Trang (Deputy Director of the Transaction Branch).
Following the prosecution of the GFDI Company’s leaders and employees, many investors in the company have become concerned. The Đắk Lắk Provincial Police have acknowledged that they are aware of local residents’ involvement in investing in the GFDI Company. However, they have not yet received any official request for cooperation from the Đà Nẵng City Police.
