According to Mr. Tuan, as soon as the decision was made to develop the North-South high-speed railway project, Cienco4 determined to prepare the best conditions to be able to participate in the project in the next two years.
“Similar to other enterprises, Cienco4 focuses on preparing resources, including human resources (engineers and workers), equipment, and other conditions. With our confidence, experience, and participation in the Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien metro project (Ho Chi Minh City), Cat Linh – Ha Dong (Hanoi), and many other major transport projects, Cienco4 is capable of engaging in most of the high-speed railway categories. This is a massive project that requires contractors, consultants, and equipment suppliers with genuine capabilities. Cienco4 is confident in our ability to participate in this project. With our expertise and experience, Cienco4 aspires to be involved in most categories, from infrastructure construction to equipment provision,” shared Mr. Tuan.
Among the two metro projects that Cienco4 participated in, the Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien metro project bears the distinct imprint of Cienco4. In this project, Cienco4, together with the Japanese contractor Sumitomo Mitsui, undertook Package 1a: “Construction of the underground section from Ben Thanh Station to the Opera House Station,” including the Central Ben Thanh Station and the underground section from Ben Thanh Station to the Opera House Station. The total value of this package is VND 4,850 billion.
According to Mr. Tuan, to participate in the North-South high-speed railway project, Cienco 4 already has a management system and thousands of engineers and workers. The Group is also sending a certain number of personnel for further training. Cienco4 also has foreign partners from China, Japan, and South Korea, who are ready to provide professional support when needed.
