Thanks to effective propaganda and mobilization, 100% of households with affected structures and land agreed with the compensation and support plan. The compensation payment process was carried out smoothly, swiftly, and safely.
The sub-project on compensation, support, resettlement, technical infrastructure restoration, and land clearance for the Gia Binh Airport construction project (the sub-project) is managed by the Management Board of Construction Projects of Gia Binh district, with an area of about 125ha in Xuan Lai commune and Gia Binh town, with a total capital of nearly VND 838 billion. This involved 773 households with land to be revoked and 865 tombs to be relocated.
According to the plan, in the first phase, Gia Binh district made payments to 648 households in the villages of My Thon, Dinh Cuong, Vang Thon, Ngo Thon, and Dinh Mo in Xuan Lai commune, and 4 households in Dong Binh village, Gia Binh town, with a total amount of about VND 400 billion.
