The 3rd Ninh Binh Festival, themed “Heritage Flow,” will take place from November 23, 2024, to November 30, 2024, in Ninh Binh City and Hoa Lu District, Ninh Binh Province.

This cultural and tourism event is of great significance, contributing to the development and positioning of the province’s millennium-old heritage city brand, while promoting the image, culture, and people of Ninh Binh and other regions of the country to domestic and international tourists.

The opening ceremony will be held on the evening of November 24, 2024, at the Dinh Tien Hoang Emperor Square in Ninh Binh City, with the theme “The Golden Age of the Ancient Capital.” In addition to the opening ceremony, the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024 will feature a range of unique and impressive activities.

Attractive events at the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024

A new feature of this year’s festival, the Dục Thúy Sơn Club House, will officially open from November 26 to 27 at Thuy Mountain Park in Ninh Binh City. The park has been transformed into an outdoor contemporary poetry exhibition space, combined with tea-tasting, poetry recitation, moon-gazing, and traditional music performances in a folk style.

The Street Festival will take place on November 29 at the entrance gate of the Trang An eco-tourism complex on Trang An Street, Ninh Binh City, featuring traditional costume and art performances by artistic troupes from within and outside the province.

As part of the Street Festival, the final round of the “Golden Son of the Past” historical character costume contest will be held, gathering the 15 best contestants after the online voting round. The contestants will showcase their unique ideas through their performances and ancient costume displays.

For the first time, a grand folk electronic music festival will be organized as a grand finale to mark the closing of the Ninh Binh Festival on November 30, 2024, at the Thung Nham eco-tourism complex in Ninh Binh Province.
