On November 23rd, TikTok held the TikTok Awards Vietnam 2024, an event honoring the efforts of content creators with 12 categories and 69 nominees.
In the TikTok Shop Content Creator category, which recognizes outstanding sellers, Pham Thoai (@norinpham_m4) took home the award.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung, Chairman of the Vietnam E-Commerce Association (VECOM), presented the award and spoke about how TikTok Shop has revolutionized e-commerce by merging shopping and entertainment.
The award celebrated a content creator who leads the trend of shopping entertainment, investing seriously in their craft, developing skills, striving in their profession, and contributing to the growth of the economy.
Pham Thoai wins the Best Seller on TikTok 2024 award
The Best Seller on TikTok award considered various criteria, including growth in total revenue, frequency and duration of live-streaming sales, commitment to TikTok Shop campaigns, and the ability to leave a lasting impression and become a future icon.
In an interview after receiving the award, Pham Thoai shared his six-year journey in the industry, the mistakes he made along the way, and how he actively worked to improve himself daily. He expressed his respect for the profession and his desire for society to recognize the value of livestream selling.
“Success in this field requires daily creativity and a blend of entertainment and sales. I also want to support stay-at-home mothers in selling through livestreams to earn additional income,” Pham Thoai stated.
Amid the influx of cheap Chinese goods entering Vietnam through cross-border e-commerce, Pham Thoai emphasized his commitment to partnering with Vietnamese brands to enhance their competitiveness, not only domestically but also on the global stage.
The Entertainment Content Creator of the Year award was presented to two creators: Le Tuan Khang and Khiet Dan. Notably, Le Tuan Khang, born in 2002, with only a 7th-grade education and no team, has built a following of 3.9 million on his channel @letuankhang2002, amassing over 70.5 million likes. His content showcases the authentic and simple lifestyle of the Mekong Delta region.
The TikTok Awards Vietnam 2024 also featured categories such as Content Creator of the Year, Sports Content Creator of the Year, Lifestyle Content Creator of the Year, Education Content Creator of the Year, Celebrity Content Creator of the Year, Music Artist of the Year, and Impressive Video of the Year, among others.
In the Positive Impact Content Creator category, three individuals were honored: Le Bong (@lebong95), Ve Hanh Phuc (@vehanhphuc), and Doctor Nguyen Trung Nghia (@bs.nguyentrungnghia), recognizing their contributions to spreading positivity and making a difference through their content.
