On November 27, People’s Artist Quyen Linh confirmed to Tien Phong that Quyen Linh Artists Company had completed its insurance payments after a five-month delay. The artist provided documentation from the Social Insurance Agency (SIA) of Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, sent to the company confirming the completion of social insurance obligations.
In the document, Mr. Le Quang Dinh, Deputy Director of Thu Duc SIA, stated that Quyen Linh Artists Company had submitted a request for confirmation of completion of social insurance contributions for its employees to facilitate the company’s commercial activities.
“Upon reviewing the unit’s management dossier, the Thu Duc SIA confirms that Quyen Linh Artists Company has fulfilled its obligations in paying social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and occupational accident and disease insurance for 272 employees,” Mr. Le Quang Dinh stated in document number 5557/BHXH-TST.
Information about Quyen Linh’s company owing over two billion VND in social insurance and being delinquent in payments for five months came to light on November 19. This information was based on a list of 15,700 employers with social insurance payment delays of three months or more, released by the Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance Agency.
When the news first broke, artist Quyen Linh stated that he was not involved in the company’s operations and only contributed as an investor, helping with brand image development and communication strategies.
Quyen Linh Artists Company is solely owned by Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh, who holds 100% of the charter capital. The enterprise operates as a single-member limited liability company and is headquartered in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
