The project, which spans over 12,800 square meters, was granted a construction permit by the Hanoi Department of Construction in July 2024, with a scale of 21 floors above ground and four basements. The contractor for this project is Ruby Land Housing Development Investment Joint Stock Company.

During the construction of the Ruby Riverside apartment project in Phuc Dong Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi, the foundation adjacent to Mai Phuc Street suddenly collapsed, taking a section of the street down with it (red circle – PV).

However, during the construction process, the foundation adjacent to Mai Phuc Street unexpectedly collapsed, taking a section of the street down with it and causing concern among residents.

According to the leadership of the Phuc Dong Ward People’s Committee, the incident occurred on the afternoon of November 25. The Ward People’s Committee has coordinated with relevant units to ensure smooth traffic flow and the safety of nearby households.

Local authorities barricaded both ends of Mai Phuc Street, where the road collapse occurred, to ensure the area’s safety.

Additionally, the Ward People’s Committee requested that the investor invite design consulting, supervision, and appraisal units to assess the current situation and identify the cause of the incident, and to subsequently report to the Ward and District People’s Committees.

Furthermore, the Phuc Dong Ward authorities, in collaboration with the Urban Construction Order Management Team, have prepared a violation record and reported it to the district for the issuance of an administrative violation decision. The investor has also been instructed to rectify the consequences and commit to restoring the road to its original state.

The Ruby Riverside project boasts a prime location on Nguyen Lam Street and Mai Phuc Street, adjacent to a high-end urban area.

Confirming the incident, the investor’s representative stated that they are working with relevant agencies and units to address the situation. “For now, we are filling the collapsed section of the road with sand to prevent any impact on the surrounding road structure. Afterward, we will coordinate with relevant units to restore the road to its original state,” the representative added.
