In their latest announcement, the fashion brand Meo shared that they will be ceasing operations in the near future and expressed gratitude for their customers’ support throughout their journey.
“Every journey comes to an end, and Thu Nhi and Meo are happy to have traveled a long road together with our valued customers,” the statement read.
As a token of their appreciation, the fashion label also announced a 30% discount on all items during their live session on November 25th.

Meo, the fashion brand helmed by Thu Nhi, primarily operated through online sales. In the comments section, Thu Nhi shared that despite receiving a lot of attention, Meo faced challenges due to the highly competitive market. One of the reasons cited for their closure was slow sales, which made it difficult to sustain the business financially.
The closure of Meo reflects the common challenges faced by Vietnam’s fashion industry, particularly in terms of price competition and pressure from imported goods.

Meo is not alone in this situation, as Vietnam’s fashion landscape has witnessed the departure of several familiar names due to various factors, including the rise of e-commerce, price competition, and other subjective elements.
Prior to Meo, brands like Lep’, Catsa, and Elpis also had to shut down their operations.
