On the evening of November 28, SJC gold bar prices were quoted by SJC Company at 82.9 million VND/tael for buying and 85.4 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 200,000 VND per tael compared to the morning session.
There was a price gap among businesses for gold bars. Bao Tin Minh Chau Jewelry Company bought at 83.38 million VND/tael, while Mi Hong raised its buying price to 84.3 million VND/tael and ACB Bank bought at 83.8 million VND/tael.
For selling, the units listed their prices at the same level as SJC Company, at 85.4 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, gold ring and jewelry prices remained stable, with buying prices at 82.5 million VND/tael and selling prices at 84.4 million VND/tael.
In the international market, gold prices surprised with a sharp rebound to $2,646 per ounce, an increase of nearly $20 per ounce compared to the morning session.
International gold prices have been highly volatile in recent days. Gold prices recovered as the US Dollar Index cooled down and yields on US government bonds also fell. The USD Index is currently trading around 106.2 points, a significant drop from its near three-year high of 107.5 points.
According to analysts, the US market is entering the Thanksgiving holiday period, resulting in weak trading demand and buying power. Despite the recovery, gold prices are still far from their historical peak of $2,790 per ounce.
The international gold price converted at the listed exchange rate is around 81.3 million VND/tael.
