On November 13, the People’s Committee of Ha Tinh Province approved the detailed planning scheme for Ky Ninh urban area, Ky Anh town, at a scale of 1/2000. The planning area has a total area of nearly 2,178 hectares. The northwest border is adjacent to Ky Khang commune; the northeast border is adjacent to the East Sea; the southwest border is adjacent to Ky Tho, Ky Hai, and Ky Ha communes; and the southeast border is adjacent to Ky Loi commune.
There are 32 types of land in the area, with protective forest land accounting for nearly 439 hectares, the largest area at over 20% of the total planning area; followed by existing residential land group with over 239 hectares, accounting for nearly 11%; tourism service land with over 181 hectares, accounting for 8.33%; and new residential land group with over 85 hectares, accounting for nearly 4%. The projected population by 2035 is about 14,600 people.
On the same day, the People’s Committee of Ha Tinh Province also approved the detailed planning scheme for Ky Nam urban area, Ky Anh town, at a scale of 1/2000.
The planning area has a total area of nearly 1,792 hectares, with its northeast border adjacent to the East Sea, the south and west borders adjacent to Quang Binh Province, and the northwest border adjacent to Ky Phuong ward.
According to the land use plan, protective forest land still accounts for the largest area with over 629 hectares, or over 35%; production forest land accounts for nearly 309 hectares, or over 17%; and existing residential land group accounts for nearly 100 hectares, or 5.5%… The total population within the planning scope by 2035 is expected to be about 7,700 people.
The nature of both planning schemes above is a civilized and modern urban residential area with a synchronous technical and social infrastructure system, in line with the orientation of the master plan of Ky Anh town. The planning organization is the People’s Committee of Ky Anh town, and the consulting unit is Ha Tinh Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company.
The Provincial People’s Committee assigned the People’s Committee of Ky Anh town to issue regulations on management according to the approved planning scheme; organize the public announcement of the planning scheme; and implement planning management and land management in accordance with current regulations.
The Department of Construction, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and other related departments and branches were assigned to monitor, guide, and urge the People’s Committee of Ky Anh town to implement the scheme in accordance with regulations, and promptly report and propose to the Provincial People’s Committee on related matters.
Mr. Phan Thanh Bien, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ky Anh town, said that according to the planning of Ha Tinh Province for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the roadmap for upgrading Ky Anh town to a provincial city in 2025 and reaching the criteria for a type II city in 2030 has been defined.
Based on this, the Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee and the town have focused on directing the promotion of management, investment, and development of urban embellishment. Up to now, the urban architectural landscape is changing day by day, with civilized and synchronous urban infrastructure, which is the basis for Ky Anh town to be recognized as a city in the future.
