As part of the 150 social works campaign under the Co.op Cares platform, this activity marks the 35th anniversary of Saigon Co.op’s establishment and development.

Despite the devastating impact of Typhoon Yagi in September, businesses continue to extend their support to affected families and contribute to the long-term reconstruction of the community. In collaboration with HUBA and the Businessmen for Community Foundation, Saigon Co.op donated VND 100,000,000 to build two new houses, helping to stabilize the lives of the people in Sa Pa town, Lao Cai Province.

The presence of these new houses not only holds practical value but also embodies the spirit of “mutual affection” cherished by Saigon Co.op. Prior to this, Saigon Co.op and the Co.opmart system in the Northern region joined forces with the Red Cross Society and charitable organizations to deliver thousands of essential goods packages to localities ravaged by Typhoon Yagi. Through partnerships with various organizations and bodies, Saigon Co.op aims to share and alleviate the pain and challenges faced by the community.

These activities are part of the 150 social works campaign within the Co.op Cares platform, which is one of the key activities to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Saigon Co.op’s foundation. Co.op Cares aims to support social security and improve the quality of life for underprivileged individuals and communities in need. Since its launch, Co.op Cares has received attention and support from partners and customers alike. The program’s projects have reached remote areas, enhancing the lives of local residents and embodying the noble principle of “One for all and all for one,” which Saigon Co.op has consistently upheld since its inception. This unique culture has guided the leading Vietnamese retailer’s activities over the past 35 years.
