During the fifth round of bidding, several land plots received exceptionally high bids. Notably, bidder Pham Ngoc Tuan offered VND 30 billion/m2 for three plots (lots A12, A13, and C6). Additionally, bidder Ngo Van Duong placed a bid of VND 101.4 million/m2 for 13 plots (lots B1, B10, B11, B12, B19, C7, A7, A8, A9, A10, A15, A16, and A17). Two other bidders, Nguyen The Quan and Nguyen The Trung, offered VND 98.4 million/m2 for ten plots (lots A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, B13, B14, B15, B16, and B17). Furthermore, bidders Nguyen Thi Quynh Lien and Nguyen Duc Thanh made bids ranging from VND 50.4 million/m2 to VND 68.4 million/m2 for ten plots (lots A1, A11, B5, B6, B7, B8, C9, D5, D6, and D7).

However, in the sixth and final round of bidding, 36 plots received no further bids, while 22 plots continued to attract bids.

At the conclusion of the auction, 22 out of the 58 land plots were successfully auctioned off, with winning bids ranging from VND 32.4 million/m2 to VND 50.4 million/m2. The total value of the successful bids for these 22 plots amounted to VND 112.2 billion. The remaining 36 plots did not find buyers as all participants chose not to place bids during the final round.

Previously, the Soc Son District authorities had instructed the Soc Son District Police to investigate and clarify the motives behind the actions of a group of bidders who offered exceptionally high prices for three land plots, reaching over VND 30 billion/m2, only to subsequently withdraw their bids.

On November 29th, the Soc Son District Land Development Center, in collaboration with the Thanh Xuan Joint Stock Auction Center, organized an auction for 58 land plots in Dong Lai village, Quang Tien commune. These land plots ranged in size from 90 to 224 square meters, with a starting price of VND 2.4 million/m2. The auction followed a mandatory six-round direct ballot format. The required deposit for each land plot was 20% of its value based on the starting price, amounting to between VND 44 million and VND 111 million per square meter.
