Other gold businesses such as Bao Tin Minh Chau Jewelry Company Limited and Doji Group… simultaneously listed the SJC gold bar price at 85.8 million VND per tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau Jewelry Company Limited listed the gold ring price at 83.68 – 84.78 million VND per tael for buying and selling.
Doji Group listed the gold ring price at 83.5 – 84.5 million VND per tael.
The world gold price was listed at 2,650 USD/ounce. Compared to a week ago, the world gold price has decreased by nearly 66 USD/ounce.
The domestic gold price has been unpredictable in recent weeks, adjusting according to the international market. Last week, the gold bar price increased by more than 5 million VND per tael, and this week it decreased by more than 2 million VND per tael. In the past month, the gold bar price has decreased by nearly 4 million VND per tael.
In the currency market, the central exchange rate was listed by the State Bank of Vietnam at 24,251 VND/USD, a decrease of 20 VND compared to yesterday.
According to the +/- 5% exchange rate band, the exchange rate ceiling and floor that commercial banks are allowed to trade are 23,037 – 25,464 VND/USD.
At a commercial bank, Vietcombank, the USD was listed at 25,130 – 25,463 VND/USD, a decrease of 15 VND and 21 VND, respectively, compared to yesterday.
VietinBank traded the buying and selling of USD at 25,160 – 25,463 VND/USD.
In the free market, the USD price this morning was at 25,630 – 25,730 VND, a decrease of 60 VND.
Thus, the buying price of USD in the free market is higher than that in commercial banks by up to 534 VND. Meanwhile, the selling price in commercial banks is at least 263 VND lower than in the free market.
