Black Friday 2024 is here, and it’s one of the biggest sale events of the year. Also known as “Black Friday,” it falls on November 29th this year. However, compared to previous years, Black Friday this year is a bit more subdued.

According to our reporters, even on a Friday evening when people usually rush to leave work, the fashion streets and some shopping malls in Hanoi did not witness the usual scenes of thousands of people crowding and jostling to grab discounted items. On the night of November 29th, many stores had a regular number of customers, and the atmosphere was quieter than in previous years.

The shopping atmosphere was livelier than usual, but there was no pushing or queuing for discounts.

Fashion stores, always a popular destination, saw a steady stream of customers.

Deep discounts of up to 40-60% were offered to attract customers.

The winter section attracted attention as northern Vietnam braces for more cold spells.

Well-known international fashion brands like Zara, H&M, Uniqlo, Muji, Puma, and Mango offered substantial discounts of up to 70%.

Some shoe stores offered deep discounts, but customers were not very enthusiastic.

A clothing store offered an incredible 80% discount.

Some stores offered week-long promotions, and many people had already gone shopping earlier to avoid the crowds.

Along with the shopping malls, numerous fashion stores along Chua Boc Street also offered exciting discounts.

Some stores offered discounts ranging from 50% to 80%.

While some shops advertised discounts of up to 70%, the items on sale were mostly less popular, outdated, or odd-sized items.

The number of customers shopping on Black Friday evening was relatively sparse.

In Ho Chi Minh City, many people flocked to VinCom Dong Khoi to shop and take advantage of Black Friday sales. The number of visitors to the mall surged compared to regular days. Many brands also offered super deals on various products.

On Friday, the number of customers at some fashion stores increased significantly compared to regular days.

Due to the large number of customers, some people had to wait in line to pay.

However, at some booths, the number of customers was only slightly higher than usual.
