In its second recruitment drive of 2024, Samsung continues to focus on hiring technology students to meet the needs of developing new technologies for future projects.

On December 1, 2024, at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, Samsung Vietnam organized the GSAT (Global Samsung Aptitude Test) Round II, 2024, for Engineers, Bachelors (Fresh Staff), and final-year university students (Interns).

The Fresh Staff and Intern recruitment program is an annual event by Samsung Vietnam, open to graduates or soon-to-be graduates from all disciplines. It aims to create a high-quality talent pool for research, development, and business operations across Samsung Vietnam’s branches.

The outstanding candidates who pass this GSAT round will proceed to the interview stage, scheduled for December 26, 2024. Subsequently, the most successful applicants from the interviews will become official employees and interns, working at various Samsung Vietnam branches. These include Samsung Electronics Vietnam (SEV), Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen (SEVT), Samsung Electro-Mechanics Vietnam (SEMV), Samsung Display Vietnam (SDV), and the Samsung Research & Development Center Vietnam (SRV).

Notably, this year, in addition to the two-month internship program, Samsung Vietnam introduced a six-month internship exclusively for Engineers from Vietnam’s top universities. Upon completing their internships, these students will have the opportunity to become full-time employees after graduating from university.

“We are living in an era where high technology plays a dominant role, and technological innovations are transforming every aspect of our lives,” shared Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam. “As a leading global technology company, we are committed to recruiting more talented individuals, especially in the field of technology, to meet the demands of developing new technologies for our future projects. We will vigorously undertake the responsibility of nurturing and propelling these young talents to master Samsung’s advanced technologies and those of the world, thereby contributing positively to Vietnam’s development.”

Alongside this university student recruitment program through the GSAT exam, Samsung Vietnam continues to implement various other recruitment programs. These include a separate recruitment program for programming engineers, the Samsung Talent Program (STP) for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree holders, and the Technician and Production Staff recruitment program.
