Suburban Districts Compete in Land Auctions

In December, My Duc District in Hanoi will auction over 230 land plots. On December 6th, the district will organize an auction for the usage rights of 115 land plots in Dong Du, Mai Sau, Thon Tri, and Dong Ri โ€“ Bo Va areas of Thuong Lam commune. The plots range from 93-178 square meters, with starting prices of VND 1.7-2.1 million per square meter.

Also on December 6th, Lac Viet Partnership Auction Company and My Duc Districtโ€™s Land Development Center will auction the usage rights of 82 land plots in Lot 3, Dong Chua, Kinh Dao village, An My commune. The total area of these plots exceeds 11,160 square meters, with a starting price of over VND 2.1 million per square meter.

On December 13th, My Duc District will auction the usage rights of 40 land plots in Dung Duoi, Bot Xuyen village; Go La, Phu Huu village; Dong Trai 1, and Cuong Vong, My Tien village in Bot Xuyen commune.

The plots range in size from 97 to 315 square meters, with starting prices as low as VND 1.1-1.7 million per square meter.

The auctions in this district will use a direct voting method in one round, with an ascending price format.

In December, Thanh Oai District will hold three auctions for 63 lots in Man Ca, Man Cong, and Ma Man Trong of Do Dong commune. The lots have a starting price of VND 5.3 million, requiring a deposit of approximately VND 92-185 million. The plot sizes range from 87 to 175 square meters. The auction will go through a minimum of 5-8 mandatory rounds, with a price increment of VND 5 million per square meter.

On December 9th, Hoai Duc District will auction four land plots in Kim Chung commune โ€“ position X2, Dong Sanh area; two land plots in Lai Yen commune โ€“ position X1, Bo Dam area; and one land plot in Di Trach commune โ€“ Co Bong area.

The plots range in size from 45 to 92 square meters, with starting prices of VND 11-26 million per square meter. The intended use of these plots is for rural residential purposes, with a stable long-term land use duration. The auction format will be direct voting with multiple rounds, using an ascending price method.

Also, on December 19th, Me Linh District will auction 11 land plots at Point X1, Dong Cao village, Trang Viet commune. The plots range from 100 to 155 square meters, with a starting price of VND 1.5 million per square meter.

Thach That Districtโ€™s Auctioned Land Reaches a High of VND 186 Million per Square Meter

Thach That District recently held an auction for 28 land plots in Binh Xa village, Binh Phu commune. The plots range in size from 69.2 to 117.1 square meters. The starting prices were VND 3.78 million and nearly VND 5.8 million per square meter.

The auction format was a direct secret ballot with a minimum of 7 to 14 rounds. The price increment was VND 5 million per square meter, applied consistently across all plots and rounds.

The auction attracted 319 customers, with 1,368 participants. After 21 rounds, 28 winners were determined. The highest winning bid was nearly VND 185.8 million per square meter, while the lowest was about VND 63.8 million per square meter.

Also in Thach That District, at the end of November, the Land Development Center collaborated with Auction Company No. 5 โ€“ Quoc Gia to hold an auction for the usage rights of 34 land plots in Dong Nga (Phase 3), Huong Ngai commune. The starting price was VND 2,389,000 per square meter, with a price increment of VND 3,000,000 per square meter. The auction format was a direct secret ballot with multiple rounds.

According to the Peopleโ€™s Committee of Thach That District, the auction of the 34 land plots in Dong Nga attracted 313 customers and 1,314 participants.

After 12 rounds of bidding, 34 winners were determined, with the highest winning bid reaching VND 59.4 million per square meter (25 times the starting price) and the lowest being nearly VND 38.4 million per square meter. The total revenue from the auction of these 34 plots exceeded VND 241 billion.
