The “Dynamic Bank 2024” award acknowledges BVBank’s significant contributions in implementing innovative and breakthrough payment solutions, notably the VietQRPay project, Technical Standard 2.0, and mobile-based payment services including BioPay and Tap to Pay. These vital initiatives have propelled BVBank to the forefront of developing modern mobile payment methods in Vietnam.
Additionally, BVBank left its mark as the “Outstanding Bank with Innovative Service” by successfully implementing seven projects in collaboration with NAPAS: NAPAS247 Instant Transfer based on Technical Standard 2.0, VietQR Pay, QR Cash, QR Cambodia, QR Laos, POS, and the Social Security Account Linkage project. These solutions not only enhance user experiences but also significantly advance the digital transformation of the banking sector.
In 2024, BVBank made notable strides in developing cashless payment solutions. Specifically, the number of transactions through the Napas system doubled, and the transaction value of customers using these payment solutions also doubled compared to 2023. Moreover, the VietQR payment method continued its remarkable growth, with a 15-fold increase in transaction volume and a fourfold rise in transaction value compared to the previous year. Beyond business metrics, BVBank’s payment solutions are developed and researched based on customers’ actual needs, integrating technology to enhance convenience and deliver tangible benefits. Recently, BVBank launched Digistore, offering a comprehensive digital solution for merchants, including SmartPOS integration for swift transaction completion through various payment methods such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, QR codes, and e-wallets.
“As a multi-functional, modern, and customer-centric retail bank, BVBank is committed to creating practical and innovative products that enhance customer experiences. We are deeply honored to receive these two prestigious awards from NAPAS. This recognition not only validates our efforts and creativity but also motivates us to continue developing advanced banking services to meet our customers’ evolving needs. We strive to build a modern and customer-friendly banking ecosystem.” – said Mr. Phan Viet Hai, Deputy CEO of BVBank.
