National Partnership Auction Company No. 5 has announced the suspension of the fourth auction for the land-use rights of 19 plots and the sixth auction for 20 plots in the Man Ca, Man Cong, Ma Man Trong, and Van Quan areas of Do Dong commune, Thanh Oai district.

This announcement follows the decision by the People’s Committee of Thanh Oai district on December 3 to halt auctions for 197 plots in the aforementioned areas.

The auctions will be organized in accordance with legal regulations and will be publicly announced after the competent authority’s decision.

All customers who have purchased auction dossiers and made advance payments for the fourth and sixth auctions mentioned above should contact the auction company for guidance on refund procedures.

Initially, the fourth auction was planned for 19 plots with an area of 74-92 m2/plot, and the sixth auction for 20 plots with an area of 96.04-149.34 m2/plot. The starting price for both auctions was VND 5.3 million/m2.

Previously, on November 30, 22 plots in the same areas were also put up for auction but failed to find buyers.

The plots had areas ranging from 85-136m2, with a starting price of VND 5.3 million/m2. At this price, the deposit for each plot ranged from VND 91 million to VND 144 million. The auction required five mandatory rounds, with a bid increment of VND 5 million/m2.

By the eighth round, the highest bid reached over VND 70 million/m2. However, in the ninth round, bidders simultaneously stopped bidding, resulting in an unsuccessful auction.

Notably, the Thanh Oai District Police intervened to verify the abnormal signs observed during the auction of these 22 plots.
