Champion Achieves Impressive Profit After 5 Weeks of Real-Money Trading Competition
Back for its second season, RongViet Invest introduced new rules with the addition of a team-based category. Each team consisted of 3 students representing their respective universities, with a starting investment capital of 20,000,000 VND provided by Rồng Việt. Meanwhile, participants in the Individual category traded with their own capital, ranging from a minimum of 2,000,000 VND to a maximum of 20,000,000 VND. Furthermore, the individuals also took part in an Investment Knowledge competition, while the top 6 teams with the highest profit rates advanced to the Investment Idea Presentation and Rebuttal round.
After intense competitions, with an impressive investment performance of up to 31.4%, Hoang Viet Anh, a 4th-year student at the Banking Academy, excelled and became the champion of the Individual category, taking home a cash prize of 40,000,000 VND.

In the Team category, the competition became intense right from the first trading days, with extremely close investment performance among the teams and constantly changing rankings. Out of the 24 competing teams, the top 6 teams with the best results advanced to the Investment Presentation and Rebuttal round. With the leading profit rate and a compelling presentation, the team “Lai Sinh Loi” from Pacific University claimed the Team Champion title and a prize of 60,000,000 VND.

RongViet Invest 2024: Spreading Knowledge, Shaping the Future
With the aim of contributing to the sustainable development of the financial market and the community, especially the younger generation – the key factor in shaping the country’s future, RongViet Invest clearly demonstrates the effort to realize the mission that Rồng Việt has always pursued. Through this competition, Rồng Việt hopes to equip students with the right mindset and solid knowledge to confidently enter a volatile market.
“RongViet Invest is a valuable opportunity for young people to not only apply their learned knowledge in real-life situations but also to learn and gain experience from leading experts in the financial field,” said Dr. Pham Tien Manh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Finance, Banking Academy.
Master Ngo Phu Thanh, lecturer at the Faculty of Finance and Banking, University of Economics and Law (VNU-HCM), commented: “RongViet Invest 2024 has brought students a vivid and authentic perspective on the financial market, especially through the challenging investment knowledge and real-money trading rounds. The competition not only helps them deeply understand the fierce competition in this field but also creates an opportunity to effectively apply their academic knowledge to the practical investment environment.”
Earlier, within the framework of the competition, Rồng Việt also collaborated with universities to organize 24 workshops on personal financial management and stock investing, attracting more than 8,000 students. These workshops were designed with practical and relatable content, offering a great opportunity for young people to learn and be inspired on their journey towards sustainable financial investing.
As RongViet Invest 2024 comes to a close, it not only provides students with learning and development opportunities but also a platform to express themselves through a beneficial and practical competition. RongViet Invest has ignited the passion of students in the fields of finance and stock investing. The seriousness, enthusiasm, and creative style of this young generation of investors have contributed to the success and emotional outburst of RongViet Invest 2024.
