General Secretary To Lam expressed his sincere appreciation and high regard for the efforts of Jensen Huang and the NVIDIA team in actively collaborating with the Vietnamese government to promote cooperation and fulfill their commitment to making Vietnam the second home of NVIDIA. This commitment is being realized through the establishment of an AI Research and Development Center and an AI Data Center in Vietnam.

The General Secretary considered this a significant milestone in the strategic partnership between Vietnam and NVIDIA. He emphasized that successful collaboration with leading global technology companies like NVIDIA in research, development, technology transfer, and high-quality human resource development plays a pivotal role in helping Vietnam maximize the potential of AI. By doing so, the country can shape its technological future and achieve its development goals in this new era.

General Secretary To Lam highlighted that Vietnam is at a crucial juncture, marked by revolutionary changes in thinking and approaches to implementing the country’s development strategy in the new era. The Vietnamese government is keen to leverage the Fourth Industrial Revolution and place science, technology, and innovation at the core of its growth strategy. It aims to develop a digital economy and foster sustainable development, with a particular focus on semiconductors and AI as strategic priorities. These areas are expected to bring about significant leaps in productivity and competitiveness and enable deeper participation in the global technology value chain.

General Secretary To Lam expressed his desire for NVIDIA to continue its partnership with Vietnam in developing the AI ecosystem and strengthening technological self-reliance. He affirmed that the Vietnamese government considers NVIDIA a leading strategic partner in the fields of semiconductors and AI. Vietnam is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for effective collaboration between the two parties, with the vision of becoming a new regional and global bright spot in semiconductors, AI, and innovation. This will contribute to the overall development of the world economy and the advancement of human civilization.

At the meeting, Jensen Huang, Chairman of NVIDIA Corporation, expressed his gratitude to General Secretary To Lam for his attention to the cooperative relationship between NVIDIA and Vietnam. He shared his joy and strong impression of his visit to Vietnam, which included the promotion of the establishment of the AI Research and Development Center and the AI Data Center in the country.
