Thus, the list of shareholders of Vietravel Airlines up to this point includes: Vietravel Group, Vietnam Transport and Marketing Tourism JSC – Vietravel, T&T Airlines, T&T SuperPort, BVIM Fund, and two individual shareholders, Mr. Tran Doan The Duy and Mr. Doan Hai Dang.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines, said that the participation of the three strategic shareholders, T&T Airlines, T&T SuperPort, and BVIM Fund, would open up new opportunities for Vietravel Airlines to enhance its competitiveness, expand its flight network, and improve its service quality. This will not only help meet the growing travel demands of passengers but also affirm the position of Vietravel Airlines – Vietnam’s first tourism airline – in the domestic and international aviation market.

“This share transfer is also an important step in realizing Vietravel Airlines’ investment and development plan. With the companionship of the new shareholders, we believe in a bright and sustainable future for Vietravel Airlines in the time to come”, emphasized Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky.

According to Mr. Do Quang Hien, Executive Chairman of T&T Group, becoming a strategic shareholder of Vietravel Airlines marks a significant milestone for T&T Airlines and T&T SuperPort, in particular, and T&T Group, in general, in the new development phase of the enterprises. This collaboration and investment will not only bring robust resources and numerous values and opportunities for Vietravel Airlines to enhance its quality and competitiveness but also boost the development of the transport, aviation, and tourism industries. It will create momentum for economic growth and significantly contribute to enhancing Vietnam’s position and prestige internationally.

Vietravel Airlines will become an essential link in the chain of infrastructure, logistics, and aviation projects that T&T Group has already implemented. Along with Quang Ninh Port, Quang Tri Airport, Vietnam SuperPort in Vinh Phuc, Nam Phuc Tho Industrial Cluster, and the Aviation-Logistics-Services-Trade-Urban Airport Complex in Quang Tri, and now the crucial piece, Vietravel Airlines, T&T Group is contributing to the advancement of multimodal transport and creating new breakthroughs for Vietnam’s logistics industry. Strategic shareholders express their determination to propel Vietravel Airlines to new heights

Attending the event, Mr. Ho Minh Tan, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Aviation Authority, highly regarded the collaboration between T&T Group and Vietravel from a state management perspective. He believed that this partnership would bring not only efficiency and value to the enterprises but also many benefits to the community, the aviation industry, and the country’s economy.

The project to establish Vietravel Airlines was approved by the Government in April 2020, with a total investment capital of VND 700 billion. The main shareholder was Vietnam Transport and Marketing Tourism JSC – Vietravel (UPCoM: VTR), holding 100% of the charter capital. In November 2024, Vietravel Airlines officially received approval to increase its charter capital to VND 1,300 billion.

After nearly four years of operation, Vietravel Airlines has successfully connected two major centers, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, to domestic and international tourist destinations such as Danang, Dalat, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Hue, and Bangkok (Thailand).

Vietravel Airlines has also successfully collaborated with some Asian tourist cities to promote bilateral tourism by operating charter flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City/Danang – Kawaga/Fukushima (Japan), Phu Quoc – Taipei (Taiwan), Hanoi – Sanya (China), and Nha Trang – Daegu/Muan (South Korea).
