Thailandโ€™s Solar Motor has recently unveiled its affordable new motorcycle, the Solar Proud 125, in the Thai market.

The Solar Proud 125 boasts a premium, modern design and is competitively priced at 44,900 baht (approximately 31 million VND). For a limited time, the Thai automaker is offering a direct discount of 4,000 baht (around 3 million VND), bringing the post-discount price to just 40,900 baht (a little over 28 million VND).

This motorcycle promises an enjoyable and comfortable riding experience for its users. It comes in two new colors: Snow Pearl (white) and Royal Blue.

The Solar Proud 125 is designed with a premium, elegant look that suits all lifestyles.

The Solar Proud 125 takes inspiration from the Honda Dream 125. While it bears some distinctive features and the Solar logo, the overall design is strikingly similar to that of the Dream 125.

Nevertheless, compared to the Dream version, the Solar Proud 125 is considered more modern due to its impressive array of features.

This motorcycle is fully loaded with convenient features such as a full-digital LCD display that shows colors according to the gear in use, and a long seat that provides comfort for both the rider and the passenger.

The most notable upgrade on the 2025 version of the Solar Proud 125 is the disc brake system equipped on both wheels, with a 220 mm diameter front disc and a 190 mm rear disc. Additionally, the motorcycle incorporates advanced combined braking technology (CBS).

The 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels are paired with 2.25-17 33L front and 2.50-17 38L rear tires, ensuring smooth rides on all types of roads.

With dimensions of 1930 x 785 x 1220 mm and a weight of 93 kg, the Solar Proud has a 3.5-liter fuel tank capacity, sufficient for everyday urban commuting.

The motorcycle is equipped with a 4-speed gearbox and a 123.7cc single-cylinder, 2-valve SOHC air-cooled engine. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 8.85 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.8 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

The Solar Proud 125โ€™s suspension is handled by telescopic front forks and rear coil-spring shock absorbers.

Other notable features include a one-piece seat, chrome-plated exhaust pipe cover, classic taillight, and black-painted grab rail.
