According to the Department of Tourism, Quang Ninh Province has welcomed 19 million tourists so far this year, including over 3.5 million international arrivals, and achieved an estimated tourism revenue of VND 46,460 billion.
The report also highlights the strong performance of domestic tourism during spring festivals, summer holidays, and international tourism in the autumn and winter seasons. The province’s districts, towns, and cities, along with several departments, have proactively organized numerous cultural, artistic, sporting, and commercial events. They have also developed and introduced new tourism products that showcase the local tourism resources, contributing to the recovery and robust development of Quang Ninh’s tourism industry.
Localities in Quang Ninh have registered and offered diverse new tourism products, ranging from cultural and spiritual tourism in Uong Bi and Dong Trieu to community-based tourism showcasing the unique culture of ethnic minority groups in Binh Lieu and Tien Yen. Mong Cai, located at the border, offers a distinct border-gate tourism experience. These experiences have collectively enhanced Quang Ninh’s appeal as a year-round destination, known for its diverse four-season experiences.

In addition to domestic tourists, Quang Ninh also holds great appeal for international visitors. The province has consistently attracted tourists from ten major international markets, including China, South Korea, Taiwan, the United States, India, France, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan. Notably, the Indian market has shown remarkable growth, with visits from Indian billionaires and companies.
With its well-developed infrastructure and effective strategies, the tourism industry in Quang Ninh is poised to continue its leading role, becoming a key economic sector. It will drive the province’s socio-economic development, fostering sustainability and contributing significantly to the economic restructuring of Quang Ninh.
