“LG Launches 2025 AI Air Conditioner Series: Proactive Energy Savings with Optimized Personalized Customization”

At the “Harmony of the Layers” event, LG Electronics Vietnam officially launched the LG DUALCOOL AI Air conditioner product range with design and performance enhancements across four lines: premium, luxurious, two-way luxurious, and standard. The power output of the four product lines is 9,000, 12,000, 18,000, and 24,000 BTU, respectively.

LG’s new air conditioners leverage the power of Affectionate Intelligence, delivering exclusive AI Air technology. A breakthrough in the new generation is the dual fan design, allowing users to flexibly adjust warm or cool air flow in multiple directions.

This innovation extends the air flow range to up to 22 meters, a 22% increase compared to conventional products, while also improving performance with a 23% increase in cooling speed and a 6% improvement in heating efficiency.

Additionally, the air conditioner is equipped with a comfortable humidity control feature, maintaining humidity levels compatible with the desired temperature, which is well-suited to Vietnam’s seasonal climate and high humidity throughout the year.

The DUALCOOL AI Air range also impresses with its AI and smart sensor capabilities. When a sudden temperature difference is detected within 5 minutes, the air conditioner automatically activates power-saving mode. Users can adjust energy efficiency to 40%, 60%, or 80% and set the saving time from 10 to 60 minutes via the LG ThinQ app.

In addition to the temperature sensor, the LG air conditioner can detect the presence of users within a 5-meter range, with a vertical scanning angle of up to 90 degrees and a horizontal scanning angle of 100 degrees, allowing for precise wind direction adjustment. When no one is detected in the room, the air conditioner switches to energy-saving mode or turns off automatically after a default period, depending on the user’s settings.

In addition to the two smart sensors, the new product range also features the kW Manager energy management mode on the exclusive LG ThinQ app. This feature enables users to set desired power consumption limits and monitor real-time usage.

All new air conditioners are equipped with a filtration system that reduces fine dust, bacteria, and viruses. The upgraded Plasmaster Ionizer++ air purification technology releases up to 10 trillion ions, enabling the elimination of up to 99.9% of bacteria within 60 minutes.

In addition to its sensing and energy-saving capabilities, the LG air conditioner features Freeze Cleaning mode, which self-cleans the evaporator coil from the inside through a three-step process: freezing and trapping bacteria, melting and washing away dirt, and drying. This process utilizes melted ice water to flush away dust and odors, reducing the buildup of mold, bacteria, and other health hazards inside the evaporator coil, ensuring a fresh and safe air flow for users.
