The draft proposal suggests that approximately 300,000 individuals/families will benefit from the Lunar New Year support policy in 2025, an increase of nearly 100,000 beneficiaries compared to the Lunar New Year of 2024.

Dong Nai Province proposes the highest support level of VND 10 million for individuals who participated in the revolutionary activities before the August Revolution of 1945. The lowest amount of VND 240,000 is intended for students in drug treatment facilities and prisoners serving their sentences.
This year, Dong Nai has also included additional beneficiary groups for the Lunar New Year of 2025. These include forces engaged in safeguarding security and order at the grassroots level; individuals who participated in the resistance war for national liberation, national defense, and international obligations who receive a one-time allowance; and individuals who contributed to the revolution and receive a one-time allowance according to the ordinance on meritorious individuals.
Furthermore, the Provincial People’s Committee has allocated VND 30 billion to support approximately 30,000 workers and union members facing difficult circumstances through the Provincial Labor Federation. Support will also be extended to several military units in the province and those with coordinating relations with the Dong Nai Military Command.
The total budget for these activities amounts to VND 308 billion.
