At the Forum, speakers and experts provided an overview of FDI attraction in Vietnam and policy orientations to attract high-quality FDI to Vinh Phuc province in the future. They presented on the context, policy orientations, and government support for the development of green and eco-industrial parks in Vietnam to welcome new investment waves. The forum also clarified the opportunities and challenges for Vietnam in the process of greening industrial parks and offered financial solutions for sustainable development and high-quality investment attraction in Vinh Phuc’s industrial parks. Additionally, participants shared solutions for green growth and carbon emission reduction, including international experiences and specific proposals for Vinh Phuc province.
Mr. Tran Kieu Hung, Director of the Foreign Corporate Customer Division at BIDV, presented comprehensive solutions offered by BIDV for industrial parks and their tenants. He introduced international standards related to sustainable lending frameworks, green bonds, and green building certifications, showcasing BIDV’s pioneering role in sustainable development. Through recommendations to authorities, ministries, and local governments, BIDV also demonstrated its commitment to accompanying investors in industrial parks and their tenants.

“Carbon Credits: Refining Standards to Unlock Forest Development Opportunities”
Following COP21, the Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, along with other relevant ministries, to initiate tasks in line with the new agreement. Notably, this includes a commitment to contribute 100% of carbon credits towards the nationally determined contributions (NDCs). For the period 2021–2025, Vietnam aims to generate 25 million carbon credits, a significant step towards a sustainable future.
