On December 18, in Hanoi, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) held a ceremony to announce and present the SBV Governor’s decisions on personnel appointments. These included appointments for the Head of the Forecasting and Statistics Department, the Chief of Office of SBV, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Vietnam National Information Center (CIC), and the Deputy General Director of CIC, with the authorization to act as the General Director of CIC.

At the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thu Huyen, Head of the Organization and Personnel Department, announced the specific appointments made by the SBV Governor:

Mr. Nguyen Phi Lan, former Deputy Head of the Forecasting and Statistics Department, has been appointed as the new Head of the department.

Mr. Cao Van Binh, a member of the Management Board and General Director of CIC, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Management Board of CIC.
