A private importer has recently announced the arrival of a special edition of Honda’s premium scooter model from Europe to Vietnam. Specifically, the Honda SH150i Sport Edition, imported directly from Italy, has landed in the country.

This special edition, manufactured at the Honda Atessa plant in Italy, features additional accessories not found on the standard model.

The most noticeable difference in the Honda SH150i Sport Edition is its design. Compared to the standard model, the Sport Edition comes factory-fitted with a large windshield. This feature is extremely useful for long-distance riding, as it deflects wind and prevents insects and debris from hitting the rider.

Similarly, the Honda SH150i Sport Edition is also equipped with a clear handlebar protector, serving a similar purpose to the windshield. Additionally, in tight spaces, this feature can also provide some protection to the rider’s hands from accidental impacts.

In addition to these features, the Honda SH150i Sport Edition boasts another notable accessory: a rear luggage box. According to the released information, this luggage box has a capacity of 35 liters, and when combined with the 28-liter under-seat storage, the total storage capacity of the scooter reaches an impressive 63 liters.

It’s worth mentioning that the rear luggage box is thoughtfully designed, with a curved backrest for the passenger and an aerodynamic shape that enhances the scooter’s overall aesthetics.

Apart from these accessories, the Honda SH150i Sport Edition also stands out with its unique decals. At the front, the scooter features a Sport Edition decal inspired by a shield, adorned with the colors of the Italian flag—green, white, and red.

The Italian flag’s colors are also visible on the Performance decal on the side and the Made in Italy decal on the top of the rear luggage box.

Additionally, there are some minor differences compared to the Honda SH160i currently available in Vietnam, such as the Honda decal under the floorboard and two reflective strips on the front suspension.

While the Honda SH150i Sport Edition is technically only available in two colors—white and black—the manufacturer has skillfully combined matte and glossy finishes to create a unique and striking appearance for this special edition.

In terms of technical specifications, the Honda SH150i Sport Edition remains unchanged from the standard model in terms of engine performance, convenience features, and safety.

Specifically, the Honda SH150i is powered by a 156.6cc engine that produces 16.9 horsepower and 14.9 Nm of torque, with a fuel consumption of 2.18L/100km and Euro 5+ emission standards. On the other hand, the Honda SH160i, available in Vietnam, has a 156.9cc engine that delivers 16.63 horsepower and 14.8 Nm of torque, with a fuel consumption of 2.37L/100km.

The Honda SH150i Sport Edition is equipped with ABS brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with HSTC technology, enhancing the scooter’s safety during operation. While ABS prevents wheel lock-up by adjusting braking force, HSTC reduces rear wheel slip when cornering and accelerating.

The importer has not yet disclosed the pricing details for the Honda SH150i Sport Edition. Previously, they had imported the limited-edition Honda SH Vetro, offering it in Vietnam at a reference price of 140 million VND for the 125i version and 170 million VND for the 150i version.
